One of the more interesting things I’ve noticed in leadership development is how often the most current research and the most ancient wisdom end up in exactly the same place.

For Christian women in business, this is more than an interesting observation. It’s a foundation.

Leadership Clearly playbook graphic listing five biblical leadership principles: lead yourself first, serve before you direct, build a culture of honesty, embrace wise counsel, honor your word

Lead Yourself First

Proverbs 4:23 says: “Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life” (NLT). What you allow into your thinking, your habits, your inner dialogue shapes every decision you make as a leader. Self-leadership is not optional infrastructure. It’s the foundation everything else is built on.

Serve Before You Direct

Mark 10:45 says: “For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve others and to give his life as a ransom for many” (NLT). The leaders who earn the deepest loyalty are the ones who visibly put their people first.

Build a Culture of Honesty

Proverbs 12:17 says: “An honest witness tells the truth, but a false witness tells lies” (NLT). If you signal that you want to hear good news and react poorly to bad news, you will get a team that tells you what you want to hear. And you will also get blindsided.

Embrace Wise Counsel

Proverbs 11:14 says: “Without wise leadership, a nation falls; there is safety in having many advisers” (NLT). Leaders who insulate themselves from honest outside voices make worse decisions over time.

Honor Your Word

Matthew 5:37 says: “Just say a simple, ‘Yes, I will,’ or ‘No, I won’t.'” (NLT). Don’t commit to what you can’t deliver. Let your word be worth something. Trust compounds. Every time you follow through, you add to it.

These Are Not Add-Ons

Biblical leadership principles are not add-ons to a secular leadership strategy. They are the substance of what good leadership actually is. If you are building a business and leading people, you already have access to the best leadership playbook ever written. The question is whether you’re reading it.

I've spent decades in the room leading. Now I'm Handing You the Map.

You didn't step into leadership because it was easy. You stepped in because you've been called by God. You're capable, dependable, and people trust you. But carrying that responsibility day after day can feel isolating, especially when you're expected to have answers while quietly sorting through uncertainty yourself.

Hi, I'm Julie Thomas Wagner and I know that weight.
I've spent decades leading in high-pressure environments across business, entrepreneurship, and ministry. I've led teams, built companies, navigated growth and failure, and made decisions where clarity wasn't optional and hesitation had real consequences.

What I learned along the way became The Clarity Code Method, the framework I now teach to Christian women leaders who are done leading from confusion and ready to lead from the way they were actually wired.
Strong leadership isn't about having all the answers. It's about learning how to think clearly, communicate wisely, and move forward with conviction even when the path isn't fully lit.

That's where I come in.
